Rules & Info:

 

We will be using Roar rules as guidelines for the RROC.  Batteries, Bodies and Motors must be on the Roar Approved list to be used.

Battery Temp maximum 110 F deg.

There is no limit to motors. Motors must be Roar Legal. We will be doing inductance testing in tech and if you are concerned about your motor we will be happy to test it for you. 

Motor freezing is not allowed and motors will be checked in tech and cannot be below 60 F deg  Number will be adjusted in case of inclement weather circumstances.
 
Practice will consist of 4 rounds of practice via heats on both Thursday and Friday.
 
Qualifying will be Saturday of 3 rounds and Sunday 1 round.  Mains will be Triple for A finals and Single for all lower.
 
Tires will be the Jaco Blue tire.  Each entry will receive 1 set with your entry and you will be able to purchase more. A total of 3 sets of tires will be allowed to be used for Qualifying and 1 additional set will be able to  be purchased for the finals.
 
Tires used for Qualifying and Finals for the RROC will need to be purchased at the event. Cost of the tires will be $30.  You will be able to designate if your included set with your entry will be used for practice or race. 
 
Qualifying for Modified and 13.5 will use a IFMAR Based system.  Counting points from your best 2 of 4 rounds.
 
RCGT will use a heads up start format with qual points being used and counting your best 2 of 4 rounds.
 
 
For Tech inspection we will be checking the following.
 
Battery Voltage for Lipo. 8.44 Maximum
Weight 1500 grams
Wing can be no taller than roof

-No one-ways allowed. Cars must have 4-wheel braking at all times

RCGT CLASS RULES

 

Any 1/10th scale 4WD Touring Car chassis.
-Any "realistic/scale" Touring Car/GT body, 190mm or 200mm (No "Race" bodies, Stratus, Mazda 6, Andy’s Accord, etc.)
-Bodies should represent models that are running or had been run in the Touring Car, GT2, GT1 classes in ALMS, LeMans, Speed Challenge etc., and we also encourage the use of authentic racing paint schemes
-Kit Lexan wing (flat realistic wing if included) or Plastic realistic wing set(s) only (keeping in mind the spirit of realism of the class), no high downforce aftermarket wings allowed
-17.5 Brushless Motors only
-6 cell NiMH or 2 cell LiPo 7.2/7.4v battery limit.

-Use of styling accessories encouraged, such as mufflers, intercoolers, mirrors, wipers, etc.

-HPI X-Pattern tires only

Reedy Specific Rules

-No IFS Bodies Allowed

-Minimum weight requirement of 1350 grams

-No one-ways allowed. Cars must have 4-wheel braking at all times

-Must use the handout, pre-mounted D-Compound X-Pattern tires

-Racers will be allowed to purchase one additional set of tires

-No Tampering with the wheels

-Tire additives are allowed

Note, any wheels and any X-Pattern tire will be allowed for use on your concourse vehicle for photos
